After graduating from high school, I started college because, that’s what you’re ‘supposed to do’ once you graduate, right? I was never motivated, I changed my major a few times, and never thought I would ever love what I did. I started working as a salon receptionist and I fell in love with the industry. I knew I had to make a change & I enrolled in Paul Mitchell in Cranston, RI. I graduated 4 months early with honors. In the meantime, I finished my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Rhode Island College.
Once I was done with school and became a stylist, I found my current home behind the chair. iStyle Salon is where you’ll find me.now. I love iStyle and the team of professionals we have in our salon.
When in school, I always had a dream of doing weddings, wishing and waiting for the day when people would hire me for the most important day of their life thus far. It was such a dream... I began doing hair and makeup for a few weddings here and there, and I gained a great deal of experience in my first few years. I have now done hundreds of weddings and there’s nothing more rewarding than making bridesmaids, mothers, and most importantly, brides, feel beautiful on their big day. I’m so thankful I found my true passion.

Sarah Depault Beauty offers on-location hair and makeup services for weddings, photoshoots, and special events. We use prestige makeup lines including Temptu airbrush makeup, MAC, Rare Beauty, Makeup by Mario, Tarte, Nars and countless others. We also use top of the line hair products such as Moroccan Oil, Kenra, Redken, and Amika to name a few.
When I’m not behind the chair or glamming a bride, you can find me at home with my daughters, husband and pups. I try spending my time off outside in the sunshine. If I’m not there either, check Target, I’m probably there, nevermind, make that definitely.

"I booked a triple vendor ‘babeoir’ boudoir session that she was a part of and had so much fun. I know nothing about hair and makeup and she applied just enough to make me feel sexy and look like I hadn’t been recovering from a stomach bug (spoiler alert: I had). She also answered all my questions about wedding day hair and makeup patiently and professionally. Sarah worked quickly and effortlessly and my hair and make up stayed put through the photo session and the milk bath (which I also highly recommend).
